Mark your calendar for Saturday, September 26, 2026, and join us from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dead Horse Ranch State Park for the 37th Annual Verde River Day and the Rotary Club of the Verde Valley’s Duck Race Fundraiser. The Duck Race will begin at approximately 1 p.m. near the corner of Kingfisher Road and the main Dead Horse Ranch Road. At the Rotary Club booth, children can race their own rubber ducks for FREE. For 37 years, this fundraiser has helped our local Rotary Club and its generous sponsors raise and invest more than $900,000 in local and global communities. Proceeds support youth leadership programs, college scholarships, school supply grants, the Verde Valley Imagination Library, local organizations, community service projects, and Rotary International global grants. Several sponsorship levels are available, and individual tickets are $5 each or five for $20 until noon on race day.
