Rylan Mienke, a Mingus HS Student and member of the Interact Club has been chosen as a delegate to the "Crutches for Africa" group who is going to Mexico to help with mobility devices for residents of the Mexico City region. The Rotary Club of the Verde Valley has donated $400 to his trip.THANK YOU to all of our sponsors, donors and ticket buyers!!! We could not continue to do what we do in our community without your support! Our community is amazing!!!
For the fourth year we sponsored the Prom Closet at Mingus High School in Cottonwood. With the support of Mingus HS, Verve Events and Tents and the Mingus Interact Club and Student Council, we are proud to provide FREE formal clothing for all Northern Arizona High School students. We served over 75 students who took home over 200 items. Students from several high schools attended, including Mingus, Camp Verde, Mayer, Seligman and Primavera and American Heritage Academy. Thank you to all who donated gently used items of formal clothing, and we collect donations year round at Mingus High School. Contact us with any questions.
